ICEVI Conference

8th ICEVI - European Conference on education and rehabilitation of people with visual impairment, was held in Turkey in Istanbul, from 30 June to 5 July this year. Four employees of Mali dom-Zagreb participated in the conference. Our director Darija Udovičić Mahmuljin was chairman for  part of the section, Marijana Konkoli Zdešić was a member of the Scientific Committee, Sonja Alimović and Martina Celizić held presentations.



Sonja Alimović gave a presentation at a scientific part of the conference on the theme of „Functional vision in infants with perinatal brain damage” and Martina Celizić gave a presentation called „ICF as a guiding tool for developing curriculum for students with visual impairments and multiple disabilities“ at the practical part of the conference.



2nd Annual SensAge Conference was also held within the framework of the 8th ICEVI Conference, with the theme of Quality of Services for Ageing People with Sensory Disabilities, where Sonja Alimović presented the work of Mali dom-Zagreb on the project Quality of visual functioning in the elderly.
