4 papers and a symposium were presented by eleven employees of Mali dom-Zagreb who  took part in  the 8th International scientific conference "Research in Education and Rehabilitation Sciences," organized by Faculty of Education - Rehabilitation Sciences, held in Zagreb from 27th to 29th September 2012.

At the Inclusive education and rehabilitation of the visually impaired section, they presented the paper on topic of:

  • "Outcome of early functional vision habilitation in children with perinatal brain damage", Author : Sonja Alimović.
 
At Applied Complementary Approaches in Education and Rehabilitation section, three papers were presented:
  • "The Relationship between the Classification of Coarse Motor Function (Gmfcs) and Manual Ability (Macs) in Children with Cerebral Palsy"   Authors: Jelena Špionjak, Jasminka Gagula, Zvonko Majstorovic (exhibited by Zvonko Majstorovic)
  • "Development of Oral Motor Skills in Children Fed with Probe in Early Childhood," the Authors: Sonja Alimović, Ana Katusic, Marijana Konkoli Zdešić (exhibited by Marijana Konkoli Zdešić and Sonja Alimović)
  • "Universal Design for Learning - the Concept of Multimedia Learning,"  Authors: Ivana Macokatić, Margareta Vidmar, Ana Katušić (exhibited by Ivana Macokatić).
 
90 minutes Symposium was held on the topic of Team Collaboration among Experts in the Quality and Comprehensive Assessment that included topics of:
 
  • "Functional Vision Assessment"   Sonja Alimović, Tatjana Petrovic Sladetić, Snjezana Seitz
  • "Special Education and Rehabilitation Assessment" Marijana Konkoli Zdešić, Ana Validžić Požgaj
  • "Assessment of Communication Skills"  Diana Korunić
  • "Occupational Therapy Assessment of the Child in Early Developmental Age "  Dubravko Jurisic
  • "Early Physiotherapeutic Assessment of Children with Neurorisks"   Jasminka Gagula,, Jelena Špionjak
