Olympic Games in Mali dom - Zagreb

From 3 to 7 June 2013, the first Summer Olympics in Mali dom – Zagreb were held.

The opening ceremony took place on Monday in the parking lot in front of our center, where all children, dressed in appropriate group uniforms and accompanied by the sounds of their hymns made ​​their lap of honor. The Olympic flame was lit with a torch, that was in previous weeks carried from room to room in Mali dom by our children.

On Tuesday, two sport competitions basketball and archery took place, curling was scheduled on Wednesday and  bowling on Thursday. Competitions were held with joy and in spirit of sportsmanship and the winners were awarded appropriate medals.

On Friday we prepared the closing ceremony of our first Olympic Games in our parking lot. All the participants made ​​a lap of honor again, the final results of all activities were read, the awards for  most successful individual, group and fair play were awarded. At the end of the closing ceremony, the most successful athlete has put out the Olympic flame, so we all moved to the dining room and celebrated the end of the Olympics with a reception.
