Partner countries:   Bulgaria, Germany, Croatia, Poland, Portugal and Slovenia.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the inclusion of people with severe intellectual disabilities in society.

During the past decades, many measures for integration and inclusion have been implemented in the field of disability, focusing on people with learning disabilities or physical disabilities. However, 30 years after the beginning of the integration movement people with severe intellectual disabilities are still marginalized.

It is necessary to dismantle barriers in order to perceive and treat people with severe intellectual disabilities as independent individuals with their own ideas, wishes, and dreams.
